Illustration job

As im off for college now and have nothing to do for a job. I would like to apply for an illustrative job but i have'nt a clue where to start. I'm not sure who to apply to and where. I have a feeling it's either an editor or a publisher but im not sure so if any one knows what i should do can you please comment on this journal entry that i took time in writing.

maybe the navy as an engineer or if not the RAF as a soilder :), in the real world its seriously hard to get a job espeicially for illustration so I am joining the service for a few years so i can get some money behind me to start me off, plus i am close to killing myself in this worthless job such as a newsagent because its extreamly boring and the boss is an asshole who blames everything on me when i have done nothing wrong lol

Hey Alex :D I think you should Try a pre-raphaelite approach to one of your future paintings :D.
